This Charity Canvas is inspired by the current refugee crisis that is affecting millions of people around the world. BARBED BOUQUET donates 25% of its revenue to the International Rescue Committee. Barbed wire, with clusters of short sharp spikes, is often used to make fences and blockades in an effort to limit refugees from migrating to safety. In this painting, barbed wire on the bouquet represents constriction- preventing a natural occurrence from happening- suffocating both beauty and growth.
